Courses by Demand:
Introduction to Soft & Permanent Magnetism
Arnold Magnetic Technologies

When dealing with the fundamentals of magnetics, differences between soft and permanent magnetic materials are often subtle. This seminar has been configured to instruct in the fundamentals of magnetism which are common to both types of material.

Design of Permanent Magnet Systems
Arnold Magnetic Technologies

Course content has been formulated for those persons with a basic understanding of magnetics. Persons wishing to attend should consider first attending the basic seminar called Introduction to Soft and Permanent Magnetism.

Soft Magnetic Products and their Applications
Arnold Magnetic Technologies

Emphasis is placed on how to select, procure and use soft magnetic materials. Both powder core and tape wound core materials are described primarily within the context of inductors, transformers and current sensors operating at 400 Hz and higher frequencies. Comparative information and data for electrical steel laminations, iron powder cores and ferrites will also be presented.

EMI Filter Design is No Longer "Black Magic"
EMI Filter Design

There are many ways to develop efficient EMI filters. We have software and consulting services available as well as the latest edition of EMI Filter Design.

MagNet Training Course
Infolytica Corporation

Participants will acquire a sound understanding of two- and three-dimensional electromagnetics modeling and will learn to work effectively on their company's designs using MagNet software. In practical terms, this course offers a fast way to become productive with one of the most powerful two- and three-dimensional software tools available for the magnetics designer.

Magnetics Technical Training
Spontaneous Materials

The scenario is quite common. By promotion or transfer, someone needs to gain some knowledge about magnetic materials or the rare earths, starting from scratch. Usually there is some urgency involved, so waiting weeks or months for the next available short course or conference may not be a viable option. The solution? Contact us immediately for one-on-one coaching or customized group training. Don't delay giving someone the proper knowledge and tools to do their job.
